**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Reviews, drafts and negotiates agreements and transaction documents in compliance with applicable policies and legal and ethical standards, without supervision, including in: + Responding, within established guidelines, to customers’ RFP/RFQs, vendor qualification documents and contractual requests; + Drafting and negotiating with customers, appropriate contractual language to reflect the business interests and policies of the parties; + Takes the Contracts Lead role on + Sophisticated international and multi-BU project contracts; + Sophisticated frame agreements (multi-BU & -WA); + Act as Global, World Area or BU Contracts Lead for Global Strategic Accounts; + May mentor and train Contracts Services personnel; + Collaborate with customers, members of the legal team and other Emerson collaborators to bring deals to closure; + Analyses business, financial, and legal risks; + Researches information on existing agreements and contractual programs, assisting with analysis and compiling data for reports; + Provides contract-related mentorship to Sales, Project Management and other customers; + Participates in the approval process to assist business owners in making informed decisions and secure appropriate approvals; + Develops and communicates creative solutions and mitigation strategies to key negotiation points; + Assists in the mentoring and training of Contracts Trainees and Contracts Negotiators. **Who You Are:** You promote high visibility of shared contributions to goals.
