Manager, Operations Process and Product

Position Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for identifying opportunities for innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, and implementing ideas from conception to completion that align with Red Robin’s long-term, strategic goals. This role will manage operations focused systems, creating processes and optimizing products that enable the operations team to drive desired results. This role will leverage strong organization, leadership, analytical and communication skills to achieve established guest, financial and operational metrics that support the brand and enterprise growth.

Essential Functions:       

Operations Enablement and Improvement:

Identify and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, guest experience, and overall business performance.Build and maintain deep operational expertise and knowledge of key restaurant systems, including but not limited to Aloha (POS, Backoffice, Kitchen and Handhelds), Hot Schedules, and Olo, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining workflows, and driving profitability through continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with IT and key vendors to drive the continuous optimization and enhancement of restaurant systems, ensuring seamless integration, performance, and alignment with operational goals and processes.Provide guidance and recommendations to project teams as a restaurant systems subject matter expert; Participate in the development of materials, conduct training, and support the deployment and adoption of new process in the field.Develop and optimize restaurant facing tools that simplify execution, drive growth, enhance profitability, and maximize the overall success of restaurants.Partner with field leadership to understand and anticipate their business needs, translate them into technical and operational requirements, and develop solution recommendations.Create and maintain standard operating procedures, training materials and supporting documents as appropriate.

Project and Change Management:

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technology product across the organization.Act as a liaison between field and the Restaurant Support Center teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

Alternative Platforms:

This role is responsible for operational management and strategic sales growth of the Donatos category. Serves as liaison between RRGB team and Donatos franchisor and ensure adherence to our contractual obligations.Work cross-functionally to leverage Donatos product to grow incremental AUV.Actively work with cross-functional business leaders and program stakeholders to ensure there is a common understanding of resource capacity, organizational change capacity, and other constraints ensuring visibility and transparency into all aspects of assigned programs.

Other Functions:

Support Operations Leadership during strategic business planning process by gathering information required for business case development, creating new revenue streams, authoring requests for proposal, etc.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in the restaurant industry with broad experience in Front of House and/or Heart of House operations required. Red Robin specific experience, preferred.Experience across multiple functional business areas preferred.Strong technical aptitude and curiosity, with a high ceiling for further growth.

Compensation Range: $79,400.00 - $109,250.00
