Job Description:
This position, PCB Design Manager, is responsible for leading the San Diego PCB design Engineering team while being a working manager. You will have direct influence on program designs and proposal efforts, staffing, and overall performance of the PCB design team. You will be responsible for leading a team of currently 5 designers and developing collaborative relationships with Engineering Managers, Program Leadership, and group leaders to support needs of the business. Your role will result in better coordination and support across key stakeholder groups. This is an on-site based position.

Essential Functions:
Possess expert level experience with PADS CAD tool suite, and be able to mentor, supervise and provide guidance for lower-level tool usersPartner with program teams to ensure programs are correctly staffed, PCB design processes are being followed, and proposal efforts are supportedResponsible for performance of the T&RF PCB design group within the Digital CCA department in San Diego including staffing, training, onboarding, employee development, engagement and proactive retentionEstablish metrics to drive year-over-year performance improvementCollaborate with site leadership to drive and assist understanding of new L3Harris tools and processes and flow down Division information to the site PCB teamServe as PCB functional representative for site specific design reviews and review/approval of proposals and Basis of Estimates (BOEs) as neededProvide technical evaluation and oversight of program execution and lead/participate in technical issue resolution teams when requiredEnsure knowledge transfer and pairing of less experienced engineers with more experienced PCB design engineers is establishedWhile this position is primarily local to the San Diego site, travel may be required to support various programQualifications:
