_This position would require a hybrid work schedule of 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote out of our Brentwood, TN office location._
**SUMMARY:**
**The Manager, Policy and Procedure, supports the development of a policy framework that contributes to the operational management of CoreCivic and its facilities.** **Manages the research, writing and dissemination of complete, accurate, and executable company and facility policies.** **Oversees the dissemination and implementation of new/revised policies to the company, and maintains historical records/archives of policy documents through the electronic Policy Management Platform (PMP).**
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
The incumbent should be able to perform all of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the job performance requirements.
+ Manages the research, writing, and dissemination of complete, accurate, and executable policies via the PMP.
+ Manages the implementation and dissemination of new policies and policy revisions in accordance with contractual and accreditation requirements using the PMP.
+ Collaborates with Facility Support Center (FSC) policy owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) on the development of new company policies and policy revisions.
+ Monitors PMP reporting to assure compliance with the contractual, accreditation and stakeholder requirements. Identifies trends or gaps and recommends process improvements or new reporting needs.
+ Reviews policy submittals from facility and FSC-level policy contributors to assure compliance with contract and accreditation requirements.Reviews, edits and makes recommendations to policy language.
+ Manages projects, identifies key issues and prioritizes work within the department.
+ Designs and delivers training to managers at all levels of the company to enable successful use of the PMP and participation in the policy development and revision process.
+ Manages the development of policy and procedures manuals for Requests for Proposals (RFP), new contract awards, and acquisitions.
+ Conducts routine audits of facility policy manuals and related materials to assure compliance with contract requirements and accreditation standards.
+ Directs field Quality Assurance Managers (QAMs) in policy management and policy program auditing.Leads QAMs in policy-related contract compliance and responding to policy-related deficiencies.
+ Serves as liaison between facility and contracting agency on policy issues.
+ Domestic U.S. travel may be required.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in English, Business, Criminal Justice or a related field is required.
+ Four years of related work experience is required.Additional years of qualifying, correctional industry or business communications experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
+ Experience with project management, policy authoring, and contract compliance is required.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
+ Experience with SharePoint preferred.
+ A valid driver's license is required.
