What Account Management - Distribution contributes to Cardinal Health
Direct Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and/or existing customers through face-to-face or telephone contact to meet individual and organizational sales objectives.
Account Management - Distribution is responsible for managing the success of the relationship with an assigned set of customers in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Cardinal Health. Responsible for long-term relationship building between the customer, Cardinal Health, and other professional organizations (Group Purchasing Organizations, etc). The complexity of the solution, product, or services offered is variable and can range from simple to moderately complex selling. Sells products and services that help facilitate patient care predominately through optimizing the supply chain and the selection and management of the products within.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred8+ years of experience, preferredPreferred Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Black/Green Belt, PMP, Etc.Proven experience leading and managing a team of account managers.Strong understanding of contract negotiation and management principles.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.Travel Expectations: 10-15%

Anticipated salary range: $103,500 - $147,900
