As a member of the Providence St. Joseph Health Clinical Informatics management team, the Manager, Regional Clinical Informatics is responsible in collaboration with the Directors and Medical Informatics for collaborative implementation, support, and on-going optimization of clinical informatics, Caring Reliably framework, IS strategy and other organizational commitments.  As a partner for clinical transformation and in collaboration with the GVPs Clinical Nursing Informatics, CI Regional  Directors, ministry Nurse Executives and other clinical and physician  leaders, the Manager, Regional Clinical Informatics manages staff performance in informatics initiatives with an emphasis on information technology and services to support nursing and interdisciplinary care partners in the areas of practice, clinical applications, clinical/administrative decision-making, research and quality improvement initiatives, education, and resource management.  He/she combines knowledge of patient care, informatics concepts, and change management to effectively represent the information and knowledge needs and requirements of healthcare professionals and patients and to promote safe, effective, and efficient use of information technology in clinical settings. Scope may include acute care, ambulatory care, and post-acute care settings in designated areas of service.  The incumbent performs all duties in a manner that promotes a multidisciplinary team concept and reflects the Providence St. Joseph Health mission, vision, values, and philosophy.

This position requires for you to reside within a commutable distance of the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital This position will require travel as defined by manager and departmental needs

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Nursing, Informatics, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration, or related healthcare field -OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience 6 or more years of experience in clinical practice, clinical informatics, and management 4 or more years of experience in clinical or IT functional management in comparable organizations, including financial and supervisory accountability Demonstrated ability to manage and successfully execute strategic plans for highly complex issues Ability to communicate with all levels and manage shifting priorities and accountable for deliverables

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree Nursing, Informatics, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration, or related healthcare field (or degree in process) -OR- a combination of equivalent education and work experience Upon hire: Certification in Informatics Upon hire: Epic Certification in one or more applications Upon hire: Informatics certifications or credentialing RN License – State of California 3 or more years of experience in all areas of program and project management including multiple project integration and process/workflow redesign
