**Responsibilities**
**Position Summary:**
The Hospice Nurse Manager is accountable for assisting the Director in the coordination of the overall operation of the departments to ensure that the optimal schedules, staffing levels and payroll outcomes are in effect and are based upon census, acuity and budget. Incumbent is also responsible for ensuring sound financial oversight of operations. The incumbent incorporates differences into the provision of care and integrates knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families with an awareness of cost containment and time management. In addition the incumbent trains, evaluates and supervises staff in carrying out policies and procedures. This position will be responsible for sharing administrative call for the department.

**Qualifications**
**Education and Experience:**
+ BSN required or experience equivalent to a degree or four(4) years of related job or industry experience in lieu of degree.
+ Three years experience in home health or hospice required
+ Management experience in home health or hospice required
**Licensure:**
+ Registered Nursing License (RN)

**Pay Range**
$56.83 - $82.40 /hour
