**Job Description**
Roles and Responsibilities
+ **Design and Development:** Create innovative tooling and fixturing solutions using CAD software, working closely with process engineers to ensure seamless integration into manufacturing workflows.
+ **Documentation:** Prepare and maintain detailed execution drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and specifications to support production and ensure compliance with quality standards.
+ **Performance Assurance:** Evaluate and resolve issues related to fixture functionality, durability, and production needs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
+ **Material Selection:** Choose the most suitable materials for fixture construction, balancing factors such as cost, strength, and machinability to deliver high-quality solutions.
+ **Cost Optimization:** Participate in cost estimation for fixture projects, identifying opportunities to reduce expenses while maintaining exceptional quality and performance.
+ **Problem Solving:** Apply analytical thinking and technical expertise to address challenges, propose solutions, and leverage internal resources with guidance from experienced team members.
+ **Lean Manufacturing:** After training, implement lean manufacturing principles, such as SIX SIGMA, to enhance processes, drive efficiency, and train personnel on best practices.
+ **Continuous Improvement:** Contribute to improvement and cost-reduction initiatives, helping us deliver on our commitment to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
Required Qualifications
+ Profound experience in fixture design or similar role within the manufacturing sector
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
+ Proficiency in CAD software (2D and / or 3D).
+ Knowledge of GT&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
+ Strong understanding of CNC machining and other manufacturing processes
+ Fluent in Romanian and communicative English.
Desired Characteristics
+ Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
+ Proven ability to analyze and resolve problems.
