We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing manufacturing processes, and implementing lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance production efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.Process Improvement: Analyze current manufacturing processes and develop strategies to optimize workflow, reduce cycle times, and enhance overall productivity.Lean Manufacturing: Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations, eliminate non-value-added activities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Six Sigma: Utilize Six Sigma tools and techniques to identify root causes of defects, reduce variability, and ensure consistent quality in production.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of improvement initiatives.Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, improvements, and results.Training: Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and improvement techniques.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in manufacturing engineering within the aerospace industry.Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex processes.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., CAD, ERP systems).

Preferred Qualifications:

Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.Experience with continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
