Job Description
We are seeking an Expert Level Manufacturing Engineer to lead an Automation Engineering Project, which involves the installation, commissioning, validation, process implementation, and data management of 8-10 new Capital Equipment for our manufacturing line. The ideal candidate will manage the process from concept to completion, recommend next steps, and present key information to leadership.
ResponsibilitiesLead the Automation Engineering Project, overseeing the installation, commissioning, validation, and process implementation.Serve as the resident leader for complex automation integration projects with budgets exceeding 1.5 million per machine.Manage the process from concept to completion, recommending next steps and presenting key information to leadership.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing Engineers and Production members, to ensure proper process implementation.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Engineering.5-8+ years of Manufacturing Automation Experience, specializing in automation integration.Proficiency in reading and interpreting automation programs and PLC ladder logic.Experience in implementing and validating new automation machinery with capital expenditure budgets of 1.5 million+.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with NSF Testing (Water).Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.Knowledge of machine installation, automated machinery, capital expenditure, manufacturing process, process engineering, process improvement, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and lean six sigma.Work Environment
The facility in Hanover Park produces Carbon Filtration Canisters for the Commercial Water Filtration business. The plant floor is dirtier and louder due to high carbon and manufacturing machinery, and there is no air conditioning, making summer months very warm. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure proper process implementation. The company fosters a fast-paced environment led by an engineering focus, with teams fully supported as the main driver for the company's success.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $67.31/hr.
