Manufacturing Engineer
Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Client is unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future. Job Description The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for supporting existing mold and plating lines as well as launching new programs. This role involves communication with customers and internal teams to ensure timelines are met, setting up equipment layouts, and conducting design reviews. The Manufacturing Engineer will also liaise with the corporate team to support documentation requirements. Responsibilities + Manage projects within budget and maintain delivery dates + Support production requirements as needed + Develop process verification and/or validation for the assembly and inspection of products + Regularly use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, tools, and equipment + Frequently work near moving mechanical parts and electrical circuits + Conduct in-process and post-production defect analysis for surface defects, sink marks, short shots, and warping, implementing corrective actions + Optimize and automate manufacturing processes + Analyze production processes to enhance yield, reduce scrap, and improve efficiency + Troubleshoot current equipment or process problems and continuously develop or improve injection mold processes to achieve high-quality parts with the desired throughput Essential Skills + 2+ years in manufacturing engineering + Proficiency in AutoCAD + Experience with Kaizen and FMEA + Strong skills in manufacturing engineering and process improvement + Experience in continuous improvement, tooling, and program launch + Project management skills + Injection mold experience Additional Skills & Qualifications + Preferred: Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Degree or related field + Automotive manufacturing experience Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
