Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Manufacturing Engineer to support a growing number of production and process improvement projects. This is a hands-on, shop-floor-focused role ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience who is eager to grow into more responsibility over time. The engineer will work on low-volume, high-mix production lines, supporting fixture design, mechanical assembly, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in designing and building fixtures for production.Support process improvements using lean tools.Work on manual and semi-automated production lines.Collaborate with senior engineers to scale up production.Participate in equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.Contribute to proactive planning for upcoming projects.Essential SkillsDegree in Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering.3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting.Experience working in low-volume, high-mix environments.Comfortable with both design and physical assembly.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in circuitry or wiring.Knowledge of electrical connectors.Familiarity with manufacturing processes.Work Environment
The engineering department itself comprises 20 people. Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm and Friday from 8am to 2pm, with no more than 40 hours per week.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
