This includes, yet is not limited to developing, approving and maintaining weld procedures, welder qualifications, and customer required inspection and test plans. **Essential Responsibilities** + **Member of American Welding Society and Welder certification.(CWI)** + 4 Year Engineering/ Technical degree with minimum of 5 yrs Experience (welding and quality related). + Detailed knowledge of welding and Quality Assurance codes and standards including ASME section IX and AWS D1.1, working knowledge of materials standards (i.e., ASTM material codes), NACE, NORSOK and other industry standards commonly required for weld process certification. + Metallurgical background preferred. + Practical experience reading, interpreting and translating customer order and other (i.e., national and international standards) specifications.
