In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems that support production, materials, inventory, and forecasting. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency and decision-making across departments. **What you will do:** + **Ensure Accurate Data:** Provide timely and precise data to address recurring or potential issues by generating reports and analyzing root causes. + **Support Staff:** Help team members maintain and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) in their departments. + **Assist Supervisors and Managers:** Aid in understanding root causes so inventory transactions are processed on time, ensuring inventory accuracy and smooth MRP (Material Requirements Planning) runs. + **Maintain Master Data:** Keep master data for parts up-to-date and make necessary changes to existing parts. + **Create and Update Parts:** Handle the creation and modification of new parts, ensuring all necessary data is correctly entered. + **Collaborate Across Departments:** Work with Materials, Purchasing, Engineering, Production, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure parts are loaded properly and validate that there are no issues with order creation. + **Support SAP Projects:** Collaborate with other plants on SAP go-live events and other process improvement projects, providing valuable data and expertise. **Who you are:** + **Detail-Oriented:** You meticulously check and verify data to ensure accuracy, preventing errors that could impact production and inventory management. + **Problem Solver:** You analyze issues and identify root causes, developing effective solutions to maintain smooth operations and improve processes. + **Collaborative:** You actively engage with team members across various departments, fostering teamwork to achieve common goals and ensure data integrity. + **Communicative:** You clearly explain complex data and processes to colleagues and managers, ensuring everyone understands and can act on the information. + **Proactive:** You anticipate potential issues and take initiative to address them, continuously seeking ways to enhance efficiency and accuracy in data management. **What you will need:** + Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related business field. + Experience: Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment and 2+ years of SAP master data experience. **Skills, Experience & Abilities** + Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.Power BI experience is a plus. + Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, including Pull, JIT, and Kanban systems. + Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and drive change. + Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials management, and inventory systems. **Who we are:** Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, designs, engineers, manufactures, markets, and services a complete range of application-tailored lift trucks, attachments and fuel cell solutions that are transforming the way the world moves materials.
