As a Manufacturing Operations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in establishing and scaling the processes for the production of printed parts while acting as a force multiplier for engineering R&D activities. We seek someone experienced in development operations and engineering within a dynamic hardware manufacturing environment. You will need a pragmatic approach to implementing lightweight and efficient processes and automation to maximize operational efficiency while enabling concurrent R&D activities. This critical role involves collaborating across departments to transform the metal 3D printing industry.
Responsibilities
+ Work cross-functionally to create and implement manufacturing operations processes for high-volume production.
+ Ensure processes are lightweight, efficient, and enable the company to meet production goals, customer requirements, and part delivery schedules.
+ Refine and accelerate post-print processes and delivery of customer parts.
+ Build, integrate, and service printing systems and new factory architecture.
+ Proactively engage engineering teams across mechanical, electrical, software, and process disciplines to improve the pace and efficiency of R&D operations.
+ Collaborate closely with business development and executive teams to develop production strategies that impress customers with exceptional speed, quality, and delivery.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
+ 2+ years of professional experience in manufacturing or engineering development operations.
+ Experience working in a dynamic hardware development environment.
+ Proficiency in manufacturing development, process establishment, and scaling operations.
+ Understanding of high-volume production and R&D manufacturing processes.
+ Experience with metal fabrication and additive manufacturing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 4+ years of professional experience.
+ Previous experience in a hands-on engineering role.
+ Experience scaling R&D operations into high-volume production.
+ Experience with metal additive manufacturing.
+ Experience leading a manufacturing facility buildout or overseeing facility operations (power, industrial gases, material storage, etc.).
+ MRP/ERP implementation experience (Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
+ Strong Excel skills.
+ Knowledge of OSHA and EHS regulations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
