We are a manufacturing facility that makes corrugated boxes. Nothing fancy, but everyone needs boxes and we are busy! We make boxes for some of the world\u2019s largest suppliers and we need people who want a career in manufacturing to be part of our Smurfit Westrock family.
Career Opportunity:
Safely performing a wide range of tasks supporting the manufacturing of corrugated boxes, conducting quality checks, material set-up, machine set-up and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, a demonstrated ability to operate complex machinery, work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Operating manufacturing equipment/powered equipment safely and follow specific directions
* Maintaining a clean work environment
* Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills
* Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations
* Ability to push, pull, bend, squat, life, reach, kneel, and stand for up to 12 hours per day
* Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis
* Must be willing to work 12 hour continental shifts
* Manufacturing/machinery experience required
* Other duties as assigned
All successful applicants must be able to provide a satisfactory criminal background check and pre-employment medical.

* Attention to detail
* Ability to work well in a team environment

* Mechanical aptitude
