Marine Technician Trainee

We are looking for a Marine Technician Trainee to join our clients offshore marine operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all marine systems onboard the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily operations and maintenance of marine systems, including ballast water systems, cargo handling systems, and associated mechanical equipment.

Maintain and calibrate portable gas detection devices and perform gas testing as required for safe entry and operations.

Conduct inspections and first-line maintenance on life-saving and firefighting equipment.

Assist with tank entry procedures, gas freeing, and aeration of tanks in compliance with safety protocols.

Support deck operations as required and ensure high standards of housekeeping and environmental care.

Accurately record maintenance activities in the CMMS and participate in permit-to-work and isolation procedures.

Requirements:

Experience in offshore marine operations or onboard vessels is desirable.

Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations.

Ability to work in a team-oriented, rotational offshore environment.
