Job Summary
We’re looking for a strategic, creative, and metrics-driven Marketing Communications Leader to elevate Emerson’s brand across the Middle East & Africa. This role is ideal for someone who understands the business value of communications—how it supports commercial growth, strengthens culture, and builds reputation over time.
You’ll play a central role in shaping our external voice and internal alignment. From digital campaigns and executive messaging to employee engagement and brand presence, you’ll work across functions to ensure we’re telling the right story, with consistency and impact.
This is a high-visibility role for someone who enjoys connecting big-picture strategy with day-to-day execution—and is just as comfortable in boardrooms as they are in content planning sessions.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
External Communication with a Strategic Edge
You’ll drive the external communications strategy across our MEA region—making sure we’re not just putting out content, but saying the right things to the right people, in the right way. You’ll adapt global messaging with a regional lens—so it resonates with our customers, partners, and media here. You’ll own the creation of marketing materials, everything from campaign decks to video scripts to thought leadership—designed to support commercial and thought leadership goals. You’ll help us maintain a consistent, credible presence across digital platforms, social media, and earned media channels. You’ll work closely with global and regional teams on events, campaigns, and media engagement ensuring everything we do is aligned, purposeful, and on brand.Internal Communications That Build Culture
You’ll shape how we communicate with our people—from updates on strategy to storytelling around culture, diversity, and innovation. You’ll partner with internal teams from Human Resources to our Employee Resource Groups to give voice to what makes Emerson in MEA unique, and drive key programs around our organizational goals. You’ll streamline how and when we communicate, so messages land with clarity and energy—not fatigue. You’ll maintain a regional comms calendar and keep an eye out for ways to improve the tools and formats we use.Data-Driven, Always Improving
You’ll keep us honest—with clear reporting across paid, earned, owned, and social channels. You’ll be the person who not only pulls the data but asks: “So what does this tell us?” and “What do we do next?” You’re passionate about increasing return on investment of our communication spend and improving with every campaign.Who you are:
You think strategically. You understand business priorities and know how to align messaging and marketing to support them. You’ve led communications or brand work in complex, global organizations—ideally with exposure to industrial, energy, or tech sectors. You’re both a problem solver and a doer. You're as comfortable building a plan as you are writing a script or editing a press release. You value clarity, context, and relevance in communication—and you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo to get it right. You understand that the Middle East & Africa is not one market—and that nuance matters.For this Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field 10+ years of B2B marketing or communications experience, preferably in an industrial or technology environment Strong experience in campaign execution, content development, and digital marketing Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
