**What Product or Services Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health** Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services. Product or Services Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability. **Job Summary** Cardinal Health provides innovative technology and practice management solutions, specialty expertise, and scale to enable specialty physician practices and clinics to deliver high-quality and efficient patient care. The Marketing Manager is responsible for executing the marketing strategy and promotional plans targeting community-based Rheumatology and Gastroenterology practices, including Multi-specialty Infusion Centers. This position reports to the Sr. Marketing Manager, Specialty Physician Practices. **Responsibilities** • With leadership from the Sr. Marketing Manager, executes the marketing strategy, messaging, and effective promotional plans to reach target audiences, while raising awareness of our solutions and GPO offering to grow market share • Supports the development of our holistic value proposition and messaging that combines the value of Cardinal Health and recently acquired businesses • Executes a mix of owned and paid lead generation strategies, tactics and related marketing assets to generate qualified leads, partnering closely with the Rheumatology and Gastroenterology sales teams on outreach/qualification • Develops sales enablement resources and promotional content aligned to the customer buying journey • Defines the trade show strategy for Rheumatology, Gastroenterology and Multi-specialty Infusion Centers and works with Event Marketing Operations and other Cardinal Health teams and external vendors to ensure a coordinated presence at external events • Executes the promotional plan and on-site branding for hosted member events • Supports the execution of brand strategy decisions to strengthen value for customers and drive market clarity • Provides input into the e-newsletter strategy for communicating with the Rheumatology and Gastroenterology audiences • Works closely with Creative Services, Brand Strategy and external agency partners to produce effective and on-brand customer-facing marketing campaigns and tactics • Partners with Communications Business Partner team to implement external marketing communications and thought leadership efforts • Responsible for the ongoing management and tracking of a Marketing budget • Collaborates effectively with others and builds strategic alliances within the Pharmaceutical & Specialty Solutions Segment and across Cardinal Health **Qualifications** • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field, preferred • 4+ years experience in related field, experience in B2B healthcare is strongly preferred • Prior experience with downstream marketing and lead generation activities • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills • Demonstrated project management and marketing experience • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple initiatives • Ability/willingness to travel up to 20% (domestic travel) **What is expected of you and others at this level** • Exhibits an ability to translate market and customer needs into clearly defined goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive sales and profitability for the business. • Demonstrates knowledge of marketing disciplines and concepts necessary for building business and marketing plans.
