What you'll do The Master Data Specialist in conjunction with the Supply Chain, Courier and Fleet Director is responsible for quality data management within our ERP system Infor, and project support for the Supply Chaon Department. This individual will utilize data management systems for entry and retrieval of information and creating necessary reports to support quality and project assignments. This includes, but is not limited to, monitoring tools, data collection and data reporting methods. The position will also provide administrative, contract and recall support as required. Coordinates the implementation of new and renewed Health System supply chain contract loads, interfacing with the Supply Chain Contract Management staff Performs additions, changes and deletions to the Infor item master files, template files, contract, and location files Works with Contract team to ensure that contract item numbers and pricing are correct Works with Contract team and Warehouse/Distrubutions team to resolve Inventory Recalls in a timely manner Provides for Health System spend analytics, metrics and other data as requested Ensures that when data is entered in the system duplicate entries are not created for items which already exist in the system. If data is missing which is needed for accurate uploads, works with various entities to get that needed information Conducts periodic audits, comparing invoiced pricing to contract pricing at each vertical Utilizes external web sites to provide price comparisons as needed (e.g., Vizient, Captis) Attends any necessary procurement meetings to ensure that Bassett Healthcare Network is attaining specific system or operational goals surrounding the timely and accurate maintenance of data Ensure high level of customer service satisfaction to Supply Chain customers and support departments Will provide recommendations for problem solving working with leaders on final resolution, correction and implementation Ability to work with limited supervision Will provide consulting support as needed and/or assigned Attends and records minutes of designated meetings; composes, secures approval, copies and distributes to designated individuals within agreed upon timeframe Prepares meeting specific materials and distributes prior to meetings within agreed upon time frame Demonstrates independent judgement and critical thinking skills, within scope of job responsibilities, in the absence of direct supervision Demonstrates efficient time management skills, demonstrated by project management and task completion Performs similar or related duties as requested or directed What we need from you Education: High School or GED, required 2 Year/Associate Degree, preferred Relevant experience will be accepted in place of degree Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare supply chain or master data ERP systems, preferred Skills: Computer Skills Time Management Accountability Communication Data Management Focusing Logical Thinking Reading/Writing/Comprehension Problem Solving Self-Motivated Reliability Interacting with People Physical Requirements: Light Work - Exerting up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Pay Range Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. The above compensation range represents a good faith belief of the compensation range by Bassett Healthcare Network, and its entities and affiliates, at the time of this posting or advertisement. Pay Range Minimum: USD $24.25/Hr. Pay Range Maximum: USD $36.38/Hr.
