Advancing discovery\. And protecting what matters most\. We are seeking a Material Support Team Member at our Littleton, CO site\. The Material Support Team Member will be responsible for the control of inventory for multiple stockrooms supporting multiple programs across the campus\. This position is a service\-oriented role that provides direct support to space programs and manufacturing floors\. This position will be responsible for processing and monitoring customer demands and scheduling program production orders\. This is a fast paced environment, working with multiple programs and locations at various levels of production support\. This job requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to help resolve issues and discrepancies as they arise\. This position will be responsible to keep supply chain metrics up\-to\-date and maintain accuracy of the inventory database\. This position will be working with the represented team monitoring the progress of stocking, picking, and kitting of parts/flight hardware\. Ensuring completed kits are staged in the area flow centers or brought out for delivery to the manufacturing areas in support of their material requirements\. **Basic Qualifications:** • 1\+ years experience in inventory or material management\. • Excellent written, verbal communication & presentation skills\. • Computer skills including Microsoft Suite applications; business management software \(SAP preferred but not required\)\. • Must possess the ability to work well in a team environment, as well as on their own with minimal supervision\. Ability to provide daily direction to represented staff\. • Willingness to support occasional weekends, holidays, or off shifts\. • Must have or be willing to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance\. • Must be a United States citizen\. **Desired Skills:** • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and/or equivalent experience/combined education; in lieu of a degree, relevant work experience will also be considered\. • Current/Active DoD Secret Security Clearance • Must be able to complete assignments requiring judgment and discretion, failure to achieve results may affect schedules and programs\. • Able to provide reports, requested information, completed special projects, and assignments to management as needed\. • Good Understanding of Supply Chain performance metrics • Proficiently skilled in MS Office suite\. Intermediate/Strong skills in Microsoft Excel\. • Proficient working with Inventory Management Software systems • Knowledge of Shelf\-life, hazardous material, and temperature\-controlled material • Experience working with Union contracts • Experienced in MS Office Suite applications \(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc\.\) • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision • Willingness to accept added responsibilities • Superior knowledge of Receiving/Warehousing/Inventory management • Advanced knowledge of Shelf\-life, hazardous material, and temperature\-controlled material • Time management, delegation, and organization skills with strong problem\-solving ability\. **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\. **Clearance Level:** Secret **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\. **Schedule for this Position:** 9x80 every other Friday off **Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $57,400 \- $101,200\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\.
