Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Millwork Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engineering millwork and cabinetry solutions for various projects. This role requires expertise in CAD software, and an understanding of materials and construction techniques.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop technical drawings and designs for custom millwork and cabinetry using CAD software.Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to interpret design specifications and translate them into manufacturable products.Optimize material usage and production efficiency through thoughtful engineering.Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing issues and recommend improvements.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD Inventor and CAD.Experience in woodworking, architectural drawing, millwork, and cabinetry.One plus years of experience with Autodesk Inventor software.3-5 years of experience in millwork, cabinetry, or woodworking industries.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials including wood, laminates, and millwork materials.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of Microvellum is a plus.Experience with AutoCAD2D is beneficial.A degree is not required.Work Environment

The work environment includes a newly constructed office space with industrial-style fixtures, located next to the manufacturing floor. The office space is designed with custom wood paneling, tables, and industrial fixtures, offering a view of the production floor through floor-to-ceiling windows. The role requires onsite work five days a week, with some flexibility for appointments. The manufacturing floor is very clean and well-maintained, and 90% of the work is computer-based with 10% on the manufacturing floor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr.
