Overview: We are seeking an experienced engineer to support our client in Newport News, VA in a long term, multi year contract. This will be hands on engineering work, not sitting at a desk all day. Prior Navy experience on surface ships or submarines gets you to the top of the list! Description: + Provide engineering and planning services on steam plant and fluid plant components such as pumps, valves, heat exchangers, pipe systems, etc.. + Develop research and designs for those pieces of equipment and systems. + Will be able to gain experience with research, design, lab testing, interfacing with customers and vendors. Qualifications: + BS in Engineering. (Mechanical, Nuclear, Chemical, etc.) ABET + 5 years of experience. + Preference towards experience around pumps, motors, valves, etc. + Ability to perform engineering calculations.
