Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in an urgent care clinic. This role involves providing vital support to our healthcare professionals and ensuring a smooth patient experience.
ResponsibilitiesCollect patient demographics based on symptoms.Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR).Assist with medical procedures and patient care.Take and record patient vitals.Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk.Ensure compliance with medical terminology and healthcare regulations.Essential Skills1+ year experience in a fast-paced clinic.Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and electronic health records (EHR).Strong understanding of medical terminology.Experience with vital sign measurement and medical assisting.Excellent customer service skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsMA diploma or certification, or 1+ years of MA experience preferred.BLS certification.Work Environment
This position requires working onsite at a primary care clinic, handling a patient load of 20-30 patients per day. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
