Medical Content Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:   

Content Creation 

Conduct thorough research to ensure content is based on the latest medical findings and evidence.  Analyze medical literature and data to support content development.  Participate in all aspects of the product development lifecycle working closely with leadership, customers, engineering, product and customer service teams to drive clinical perspective.   

Technical Support and Platform Development 

Provide technical support for content management systems and tools used in the creation and distribution of medical content.    Problem solving to help improve customers’ documentation efficiency, capture of structured data and the readability of medically accurate procedure notes for the clinical record and to support the continuity of patient care.   Participate in Agile activities including daily stand ups, estimations, and backlog grooming and reviews 

Data Analysis 

Provide analysis of medical content usage and customer insights to prioritize content development and improve customer experience.   Develop data visualization tools to facilitate understanding and decision making   

Management of Content

Organize and maintain a repository of medical content, ensuring it is easily accessible and up to date.  Implement content management systems and tools for efficient content handling. 

Job Requirements:  

Education & Experience   

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as biomedical engineering, medical informatics, health sciences, or a related discipline  5 years of experience  Experience with content graph databases and ability to translate medical concepts into structured graph models  Experience with Graph Databases like Neo4j or Azure Cosmos DB  Experience with Graph Query Language like Cypher  Experience with Docker Desktop is preferred 

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:   

Data Modeling: Strong understanding of data modeling principles, preferably ontology modeling in healthcare  Data Analysis: Experience with data analysis and BI tools  Medical Knowledge: A strong understanding of medical terminology, healthcare regulations, and clinical practices  Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create clear and accurate medical content  Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards  Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure preferred  Experience with version control systems like GitHub is a plus

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 79,300.00 - 147,300.00
