Microbiology / Environmental Monitoring - Program Leader – Drive Hygiene, Compliance & Innovation!
Location: Commutable from Northern NJ, Rockland County NY, Suffern NY, Bronx, NY and Greater White Plains NY area
Schedule: M–F, 8 am – 5 pm

We’re seeking a Microbiology Programs Lead to take charge of our environmental monitoring and microbiology lab programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance, preventing contamination, and promoting continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all environmental monitoring: air, water, surface testing, and cleaning/sanitization programs Lead investigations into contamination events and drive CAPA implementation Write, trend, and present microbiological data and EM reports Train plant staff on best practices for hygiene and compliance Conduct daily cGMP audits with cross-functional teams and track follow-ups Develop and execute validation protocols and update SOPs Collaborate with R&D, QA, and contract labs Support audit readiness and regulatory compliance
What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related science Solid experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment (pharma or cosmetics preferred) Knowledge of USP, FDA, AAMI, and ISO microbiology standards Strong technical writing, investigation, and CAPA experience Solid leadership, organizational, and communication skills
