The Mogul Operator I proficiently runs and coordinates daily operation of Mogul equipment according to company guidelines and quality standards. The Mogul Operator I performs basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks required for assembly and operation of Mogul equipment. Shift: WK PM (Monday-Thursday 6 PM-6 AM) Catalent is committed to a Patient First culture through excellence in quality and compliance, and to the safety of every patient, consumer and Catalent employee. **The Role** + Scribing/Capturing/verifying (both manually and electronically) inputs, recipes & values essential for maintaining equipment operation, maintenance and sanitation at the required frequency. + Completes all required Batch Production Record (BPR) information. + Must respond urgently and mindfully to malfunctions that occur with the Mogul equipment and escalate in accordance with the escalation protocol. Promptly reports to Production Supervisor and designated Production Worker Lead/Foreperson all equipment malfunctions, as well as process and product quality deviations as they occur. + Raw Material verification and Raw material pre-weighing. Accurately record raw material usage and other relevant information on daily Mogul reports. + Clean Mogul equipment and required areas to company standard daily. + Observe and follow all safety procedures; comply with all PPE requirements; observe and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Food Safety Plan (HACCP), and Food Quality Plan (FQP). + Responsible for producing high quality product in each step of production. + Other duties as assigned. **The Candidate** + HS Diploma or equivalent Required + 6+ months of batch making experience preferred. Manufacturing experience preferred. + The employee must recognize and comply with all company ergonomic guidelines when lifting and must regularly lift and /or move up to 45 pounds. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms, climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl in accordance with ergonomic guidelines.
