Job Summary

This hybrid telework/onsite position assists the USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center Patrol Boat Product Line in the development of Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPCs), to include “O” Level and “D” Level MPCs.


Education and Experience

Experience with USCG maintenance procedure development and maintenance IT systems and processes highly desired

Essential Duties

Develop and maintain the required “O” level Scheduled Maintenance Requirement ListAnalyze supply and demand data and develop all Maintenance Procedure Cards for thedirected assets.Using the OEM recommended Maintenance Schedule and existing technical documentation(provided by the government) assist the PL in any required tasks pertaining to modernization including the enrollment of all directed assets into the modernized and legacy IT tools.Evaluate available Patrol Boat data and make recommendations on level of effort and recommended approach for centralized maintenance management for review and discussion with PBPL staff. This support is for all Patrol boat assets assigned by the PBPL.Shall support onsite shipboard Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) validations efforts as required.Shall conduct comprehensive analysis and make LORA determinations as appropriate to support development of logistics artifacts.Working closely with the PBPL Engineering cell shall develop and maintain the “O” and “D” level Requirements List (MRL), to include HM&E and those other tasks directed by the PBPL and assist with determination of MPC development priorities.Coordinate the validation and publication of MPCs and including the routine changes to said MPCs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Capable of reviewing, analyzing, and processing maintenance, configuration, and logistics data from multiple government-maintained data sources provided in various formats for the purpose of maintaining “O” and “D” level maintenance requirements for each of the Patrol boat assets assigned by the PBPL.Strong background and experience working with hierarchical data structured databases and understands system/equipment parent child relationships specific to shipboard systems.Shall have an overall understanding of shipboard maintenance concepts.
