This opportunity entails being nationally/regionally recognized as a key technical expert within area of specialty.

What You’ll Do:

Sought out to provide technical input and possible leadership on complex projects within practice area.Identifies, pursues, and executes high-level projects with assigned departments, agencies, and programs.Manages client relationships and guides the application of HNTB services within a specific practice area to best serve the interests of the client and HNTB.Responsible for successful contracting and project execution, working closely with regional HNTB staff and office leadership.Partners with National Practice Leaders to develop and promote technical knowledge and applicability of practice area.Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field12 years of relevant experienceIn lieu of a degree 16 years of relevant experience

What You'll Bring:

​Responsible for business development, technical quality oversight, and priority transit and rail project deliveryResponsible for providing environmental compliance, sustainability expertise, and energy management expertise to the National Transit Rail Practice, and other HNTB staff/clients, as needed or requestedThe primary geographic area of responsibility is nation-wideProvide environmental, sustainability, and energy expertise and leadership on complex projectsPartner with local office staff and leadership to identify and market HNTBServe on Transit/Rail leadership teamResponsible for successful sale and project execution, working with area HNTB staff and leadership

What We Prefer:

Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Environmental Management, Architecture, or Engineering,A history of 20 years of practice in the applicable fieldA strong background in transit operations and a proven track record of leading complex projects and programs within the rail and transit industry.
