ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Network Engineer I** to join our team in **Crane, Indiana.** This is an onsite position. As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter’s effectiveness. If you enjoy working on a highly collaborative and dynamic team and want to make a difference for the warfighter, then we would love to have you on our team! **Responsibilities include but not limited to:** + Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity + Troubleshoot and resolve basic network issues, keeping our systems running smoothly + Monitor network performance, ensuring maximum availability and reliability for our users + Collaborate with a talented team to implement innovative network solutions + Provides technical expertise in the management of a public and/or private network such as Internet protocol (IP) networks, wide area networks (WANs), and public switched telephone networks + Plans, designs, installs, maintains, monitors, analyzes, troubleshoots, modifies, and supports network communications systems to provide maximum performance and availability **Minimum Qualifications:** + High School Diploma + 1+ years of experience in network engineering or a similar role + Basic understanding of networking concepts like TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP + Familiarity with network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls + Experience in multi-level security networks including cross-domain solutions **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field + Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ Experience with network monitoring tools to keep a pulse on performance + Knowledge of wireless networking to support modern connectivity needs + Strong problem-solving skills to tackle challenges head-on + Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to thrive in a collaborative environment **Clearance Requirements:** + Must have a current and active TS/SCI Clearance **Physical Requirements:** + The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. + Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
