Description
Our client is looking for a Tier 1-3 Network Engineer to join their team to help with their increased customer base, customer support, and increased workload mainly in the DMV/Eastern Shore (will also help with West Coast support when needed, no travel to West Coast.)
The ideal candidate comes from a helpdesk background who has advanced into network engineering more on the wireless side, jack of all trades on smaller scale networks, no enterprise experience needed. (this is all external work and customer facing) (wireline experience is a plus).
This role is heavy on Meraki and Ubiquity but is not limited to Cambrium, Siklu, WAPs, VOIP, CCTV, etc. The candidate must possess skills to troubleshoot, light design, replace/repair networking equipment, firewall configuration/escalation, etc. (Firewall is more of a set and forget for hospitality customers, standard setup)
They will also serve as an escalation point from tier 1 helpdesk support including printers, desktops, remote support and onsite for end users, access points, inherit new customer equipment, as well as assist with PM support via work with internal team for quotes, bill of estimate, labor, proposals, vendor coordination/equipment pricing (TD Synnex, Accutech, AWS).
This role will include an on-call rotational shift for weekends and holidays for emergency support . Right now, our client runs a 5 week rotation.
Relevant certifications a plus: CCNA, ECMS1/2 (Meraki), Ubiquiti UEWA, CompTIA Network+/Security+.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $58.00/hr.
