This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located at customer's site. No relocation is offered.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise and oversite of installation and maintenance of Marine Corps FirstNet systems and advise in planning technology shifts.Performs and supervises general maintenance of FirstNet equipment and circuits.Responsible providing Subject Matter Expertise and technical liaison between the customer and the FirstNet Authority for any system emergencies that may arise.Manages all technical aspects of installation and maintenance activities for the Marine Corps FirstNet network.When problems arise, provide Subject Matter Expertise to the Program Manager to meet contract response times.After solution is implemented, supervises follow- up quality control testing with all concerned parties, ensuring successful resolution.Develop proposed solution drawings. Maintain technical drawings of implemented solution.Performs other related duties as requiredRequired Clearance:
Must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to attain SECRET Clearance (#secret) (#clearable)
Required Qualifications:
Self-MotivatedAbility to work independently as well as collaborativelyStrong technical background.Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally with very specific data.Ability to travel and work on-call.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.Knowledge of computer systems and software.To be able to be certified on the equipment that AK Associates services.Diagrams existing rack elevations that includes active equipment, patch panels, existing patch cords (copper and fiber), power, grounding/bonding, rack/cabinet specs/dimensionsRecords any identified deficiencies that requires correction or reporting to the prime contractorExperienced in site survey of network infrastructure and recording detailed information required for design and deployment of a modernized IT infrastructureVersed in identifying existing cabinet/rack specs/dimensions, AC power receptacle types, proper cabinet/equipment bonding/grounding, cable management, equipment mounting options, network switching hardware configurations, network cable (copper & fiber) type/category and associated connectorsAbility to sketch/diagram floorplans, rack elevations, cable routes, network topologies and other equipment/materials that may be located in equipment roomDesired Qualifications:
Five years supporting AT&T Sales and/or Service Management, with a firm understanding of mobility products, processes, and systems used. The Candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working collaboratively within AT&T, with vendors/partners/teammates, system integrator partners, and directly with the customer to fulfill mission requirements.Knowledge of service management methodologies, tools, and templates and large, complex IT environments.Experience in working with wireline and wireless telecommunications management systems, especially with AT&T’s systems.Education: B.S., IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or TelecommunicationsCertifications: Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMI PMP)Our Network Engineer's earn between $140,000 -$195,000.
