About the role: With significant growth across our team, we are looking for someone who is ready to step up in their career to take on a Network Planning Team Leader role in the Auckland office alongside your technical role in the Modelling team. The Team Leader will be working closely with the Network Planning leadership team across New Zealand and other team leads to develop the team members and support the growth of the Network Planning team business. Key elements of the role: + Support the professional development of your team. + Lead, support and drive the team to deliver excellent internal and external client service gaining “Trusted Advisor” status. + Promote an open, challenging and stimulating work environment. + Ensure that your team is provided with technical guidance, support, and training. + Work with the network planning leadership to identify and understand market trends, pursue opportunities, and win revenue generating work. + Provide technical oversight of modelling projects including model build, calibration, system performance and optioneering. This will include ensuring that QAQC procedures are followed. + Provide technical expertise in specialist area of engineering to meet project needs. + Determine client requirements, conduct and manage site surveys and investigations, produce calculations, specifications and drawings to ensure that technical designs provide appropriate solutions. + Plan, program and coordinate the specific projects, to deliver the agreed outputs on budget, on time and to quality standards. + Prepare proposals and carry out other appropriate marketing initiatives. + Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures. + You will be tertiary qualified, preferably chartered or working towards, and have 5 years of experience. You will be self-starter who is already working on your leadership skills, have a high standard of oral and written communication and a passion for developing and leading teams. **About us** The Stantec community unites approximately 31,000 employees working in over 450 locations across six continents.
