The Outsourced Finance Accounting group at Moss Adams helps businesses to operate more effectively, make better decisions and spend less time on accounting and financial operations. The Manager role is instrumental to our ability to deliver on our promise. We are looking for energetic individuals who have a passion for learning and using technology to provide outsourced finance accounting services to our dynamic client base.
Consulting Managers serve as a valued business advisor to our clients by filling a variety of client roles such as Virtual Controller, Account Manager, and Onboarding. The Consulting Manager is responsible for managing the ongoing financial reporting operations including review of periodic financial reports, KPI’s, and other management reports. The Consulting Manager provides critical oversight and account management to ensure the right policies and procedures are implemented, controls are designed to mitigate risk, and ensures reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

Responsibilities:
Works closely with clients to support their accounting and reporting needs, providing financial information for business decisionsBecomes a trusted advisor to our clients by delivering our expertise in a timely and personal wayManages completeness and timeliness of client deliverablesUtilizes various technologies to add value to the client experienceAssists in the creation or expansion of accounting policies and proceduresManages cash and pays client approved A/P invoicesInterfaces with clients and coordinates with team through virtual processes and platformsPerforms overview of financial statements for inconsistencies and opportunities of increased revenue generation or cost savingsPeriodically prepares and/or reviews account reconciliationsReviews journal entries prepared by team membersFacilitates updates needed to the general ledger and other data requirements Develops technical solutions to new or highly complex problems that cannot be solved using exiting methods or approachesStays abreast of business, industry, and market information that may reveal business opportunities or risksQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience requiredMinimum of 4 years of related experience CPA preferred.
