Job Overview Operates, repairs and monitors operation of building equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Job Expectations: · Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards. · Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements. · Operates high/low pressure boiler heating system and air conditioning equipment. · Repairs steam plank equipment, plumbing, structure, heating, air conditioning and electrical equipment. · Completes monitoring and repairs in accordance with operating procedures, manufacturer guidelines, OSHA, State and Federal regulations. · Monitors equipment to ensure proper temperature and pressure readings/settings. · Maintains records on equipment repairs, safety inspections, and preventive maintenance. Communicates supply shortages to others as needed. · Answers all departmental telephone calls and or work requests received and enters on work order system to ensure prompt response to inquiries or problems. · Consults with and advises supervisor regarding problems with operation of the building and reports all repairs and maintenance that require assistance from maintenance engineer or outside services. · Demonstrates safe practice in the use of equipment and makes recommendations and improvement of safety. Wears safety equipment as appropriate. Organization Expectations, as applicable: · Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served. o Partners with patient care giver in care/decision making. o Communicates in a respective manner. o Ensures a safe, secure environment. o Individualizes plan of care to meet patient needs. o Modifies clinical interventions based on population served. o Provides patient education based on as assessment of learning needs of patient/care giver. · Fulfills all organizational requirements. o Completes all required learning relevant to the role. o Complies with and maintains knowledge of all relevant laws, regulation, policies, procedures and standards. · Fosters a culture of improvement, efficiency and innovative thinking. · Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications 3 years experience required in operating, heating and cooling systems and maintaining building structures and grounds.
