We are seeking an **Operations Manager** for our Fiber Optic Construction projects throughout the state of Oregon and southern WA. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing daily field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across all telecom construction projects. This role drives alignment between internal teams and project goals, while continuously improving processes, managing performance, and supporting company growth through strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

**The Role**
+ Oversee the daily operations of telecommunications construction activities to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality
+ Manage and support internal teams, including field supervisors, business partners and other stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of company standards
+ Collaborate with project managers to align operational execution with project goals, timelines, and budgets
+ Implement and maintain operational processes and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize delays or cost overruns
+ Monitor and enforce safety and compliance standards across all active job sites and operational processes
+ Serve as a key internal point of contact for cross-functional departments to ensure smooth coordination and communication.
+ Prepare detailed reports on operational performance, budget adherence, and process improvements.
+ Identify and resolve operational issues quickly to avoid disruption
+ Continuously seek and implement improvements in workflows, tools, and communication to support company growth and efficiency
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
+ Coach, mentor, and develop team members, ensuring accountability through written performance reviews and professional development planning
+ Travel to project sites throughout the state of OR and southern WA +/- 50% annually (daily trips and some overnight stays)
+ Perform additional duties as assigned by Senior Management
Requirements
+ 4+ years of experience in broadband, telecommunications, or related industry operations
+ Proven leadership experience driving business strategy, KPIs, and P&L performance
+ Experience in telecommunications or construction operations strongly preferred
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field preferred, but not required
+ Strong understanding of operational workflows, compliance standards, and process management
+ Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the role through relevant skills and experience
+ Experience conducting performance reviews and managing employee development
+ Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in person or virtually
+ Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Ability to adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and business needs, including after-hours availability as required
+ Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
+ Skilled in building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships
+ Comfortable providing both positive and constructive feedback to support team growth
+ Passion for developing team members and fostering a collaborative environment
+ Ability to travel to project sites throughout the state of OR and southern WA +/- 50% annually
+ Ability to work indoors, outdoors, in confined spaces, or elevated positions involving bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods (up to 70% of the time)
+ Capable of safely navigating various terrains while managing equipment and tools
+ Willingness to travel within the market and occasionally to other regions as needed
+ A body weight of no more than 275 pounds to perform ladder work safely. **Safety is our #1 Priority. If personal safety is not compromised, an accommodation may be available based on previous ladder experience in a similar role**
+ Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving
