As an integral part of our service organization, the Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations related to the integration and management of a radio communication system. This position is based in Québec City and involves occasional travel within Québec province and other regions in Canada and the United States for training purposes. The role also includes providing on-call support during evenings, nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities:Collaborate:Work closely with the operations team, customers, and management to ensure smooth service delivery.Project Management:Lead project management efforts and client service delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.Monitoring:Track costs, budget plans, forecasts, and timelines efficiently.Reporting:Develop progress reports and implement monitoring mechanisms for continuous improvement.Team Leadership:Manage and supervise teams, fostering a high-performance environment.Decision Making:Ensure timely decision-making and consistent improvement of service levels.Communication: Communicate effectively in both French and English, orally and in writing.Essential Skills:Industry Experience: Background in radiocom or telecom.Project Management: Proven experience in project management and client service delivery.Leadership: Demonstrated ability in people management and team building.Bilingual Communication: Strong communication skills in French and English.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a technology-related field with relevant experience.Certifications:PMP certification or similar credentials; ITIL v3 foundation training and exam completion or commitment to complete within three months of employment.Coordination:Ability to coordinate and synthesize information from diverse stakeholders.Planning: Excellent planning and organizational skills.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.Work Environment:Location: Based in Québec City with some travel within Québec province and occasionally to other regions in Canada and the United States for training.On-Call Support:Includes on-call support during evenings, nights, and weekends.Attributes:Emphasizes versatility, resourcefulness, and autonomy.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
