The Opportunity

This position works out of our Plymouth location in the Structural Heart (SH) division.

Main Purpose of Role

As an Operator I, you’ll work under direct supervision, performing routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes.

What You’ll Work On

Be able to clearly communicate ideas, problems, and solutions to all levels of manufacturing management in both written and oral formPositively represents and supports the company’s policies and proceduresMaintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal customers and external customers, such as with toursFollow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operationsParticipate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives in order to enhance production processes to achieve quality and profitability metricsPerform routine/preventative maintenance on the applicable equipment.Maintain accurate records to ensure traveler and quality documents are accurate, all parts are traceable, and quality issues can be addressed to assure the quality of all products

Required Qualifications

Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions - Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packagesAbility to prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence and importanceAbility to handle and maneuver small components and partsAbility to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer 6 months experience working in a medical or other regulated production environmentPrevious medical device, manufacturing or assembly experience is helpfulHigh school degree or equivalent preferred

The base pay for this position is $13.90 – $27.80 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
