Description We are looking for an experienced Oracle Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a strong background in finance and accounting to join our team in Miami, Florida. This is a long-term contract opportunity that requires onsite presence and offers the chance to work on impactful projects within a large organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Oracle implementation and financial systems, coupled with advanced knowledge of accounting principles and reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Lead Oracle implementation processes, ensuring systems are tailored to meet organizational needs and financial objectives.
• Facilitate general ledger mapping and ensure accuracy in financial entries.
• Oversee the full cycle of accounting, from transaction recording to financial reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system functionalities with business requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on Oracle systems, acting as a power user and resource for team members.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting structures that comply with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Utilize tools such as Atlassian Jira and Agile Scrum methodologies to manage project workflows efficiently.
• Monitor budget processes and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Leverage experience in ERP and CRM systems to optimize system integration and performance.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and solutions throughout the implementation process. Requirements • Proven experience in Oracle implementation, with advanced knowledge of Oracle systems.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Expertise in general ledger mapping and full-cycle accounting processes.
• Background in working with large organizations; experience with municipalities is a plus.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira, Agile Scrum methodologies, and cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in ERP and CRM systems, with a focus on integration and optimization.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and align project workflows with organizational objectives.
