We value the passion and enthusiasm of our colleagues and encourage you to share your passion when you work with us. **A little taste of your day-to-day:** + _Have a complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items available to Room Service and minibar._ + Assist with the preparation of service by: + Maintaining cleanliness, sorting, and preparing store equipment and materials; glassware, flatware, chinaware for service. + _Checking storage areas for proper supplies, organization, and cleanliness._ + _Inspecting, planning, and ensuring that all materials and equipment are in complete readiness for service._ + Ensuring table preparation, knowledge on different tray and trolley set-ups, and being aware of all amenities for service to be delivered on time. + _Trays and Carts are removed from the hotel hallways and elevator bays at all times._ + _Always follow standard telephone etiquette while speaking to guest over phone._ + _Ensure prompt and efficient delivery of food and beverage to the guest's room._ + _Ensure that hot food is maintained and delivered hot and all cold items are delivered cold._ + _Serve drinks efficiently in the proper glass with the proper garnish._ + _Read and retain all pertinent information regarding daily promotions, food and beverage specials._ + _Check back with guest to ensure they are enjoying their meal, and determine if they have any other needs._ + _Perform duties of the room service in the absence of supervisor._ + _Must be able to anticipate guest or operational needs._ + _Ensure room service equipment's are functioning properly; report any problems to the Assistant Room Service Manager._ + Perform any reasonable tasks as instructed by Manager. + Report any damaged / defective equipment to superior. + Work carefully to minimize breakage. **What we need from you:** + Great communication skills. + Ability to work in a team and in different functions. + Warm and inviting personality. + Ability to think calmly under pressure. + Willingness to learn open-mindedly. + Willingness to work with a flexible schedule and responds positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested of you. + Basic organisation skills in restaurant operation. **What you can expect from us:** We give our people everything they need to succeed, from a competitive salary that rewards all your hard work to a wide range of benefits designed to help you live your best work life – including impressive room discounts and some of the best training in the business.
