Job Description
As a Packaging Clerk, you’ll be responsible for building and assembling a variety of shipping and packaging components—such as pallets, racks, crates, and containers—to exact specifications. If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in precision and quality, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:Operate tools and equipment safely, including chop sawsMeasure and cut wood to required dimensionsAssemble wood frames and secure components with fastenersBuild and prep packaging structures like racks, pallets, corrugated tubes, and Gaylord containersLabel and band completed packages for safe shipmentSupport additional tasks or departments as neededQualifications and Requirements:Minimum 1 year experience in wood framing, packaging, or a manufacturing role preferredAbility to read work instructions and measurementsStrong attention to detail and mechanical aptitudeBasic math skills using whole numbers, fractions, and decimalsGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to interpret diagrams, schedules, and verbal instructionsMust be able to pass pre-employment screeningsBenefits and Perks:Competitive pay of $18 or more based on experienceMedical BenefitsPaid HolidaysTraining & Opportunities for Career GrowthYour New Organization: A leading metal stamping and aluminum manufacturer providing optimized production for various industries. The base salary range for this position is $18/hr. or more based on experience, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
