Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the operations team supporting the production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Packaging Operator

Location: Sparks Glencoe, MD

Pay Range: $19.88 per hour

What's the Job?

Move required materials from defined storage or staging areas to workspace using material handling equipment. Package final products into end-user containers per approved Standard Manufacturing Procedures (SMP). Set up, operate, and clean production equipment including weighing scales and filling equipment. Maintain accurate production records, including operation logs and batch history records. Follow all safety policies and procedures while performing duties.

What's Needed?

High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environment. Ability to perform heavy lifting/handling during a 10-hour shift. Capability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for a significant portion of the workday. Must pass physical examinations for forklift operations and respirator fit tests.
