Why Join Us? + Work with a dedicated team of professionals and volunteers + Competitive hourly compensation in a part-time, flexible role + State-of-the-art equipment and well-maintained apparatus Essential Functions What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities As a Paramedic, you will: + Respond to emergency medical calls to deliver life-saving care + Provide Advanced and Basic Life Support services under high-stress conditions + Drive and operate emergency medical response vehicles + Clean, inspect, and maintain assigned apparatus, equipment, and fire stations + Complete accurate reports and documentation per department SOPs + Participate in required training and skill refreshers + Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, teammates, and the public + Maintain readiness and professionalism throughout each shift Typical Qualifications What We’re Looking For: + High school diploma or GED equivalent. + Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. + Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have held it for at least 2 years. + Willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts. + Certifications - All part-time providers must possess the following: + NIMS ICS-100, ICS-200, IS-700, IS-800 + Healthcare Provider CPR + Virginia Department of Fire Program EVOC Class I and II + AHA ACLS and PALS Supplemental Information All positions are subject to a criminal background check for any convictions that relate to the job duties and responsibilities.
