Position OverviewUnder supervision, performs secretarial duties, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinical, or laboratory procedures. Primary Department or Work Location: Physician Services, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital Work Shift and Schedule: This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager. Compensation Range: $15.00 - $20.74 per hour, depending on experience This position is not eligible for benefits. ----- Education/Experience Minimum Required: + High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred: + Two years’ experience in medical environment with working knowledge of insurance applicable to outpatient medical care. + Proficient computer skills, knowledge of Medical Terminology, experience with scheduling.
