Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Location: East Rutherford, NJ

Reporting to: Payroll Lead Administrator

What You’ll Do:
Process all transactional work for Retail & Warehouse California bi-weekly payrollOnce a week assist in house, Payroll Supervisor with processing paper timesheet submissions for Corporate non-exempt employees.Coordinate and process all Final checks in Compliance with State requirements.Research and respond to internal payroll inquiries via the Service Center mailbox and live requestsWork closely with Risk Management to provide employee wages for Workers Compensation & Employment verificationsTrack all employees’ sick, personal, and vacation time for Retail using Dayforce, producing a quarterly report for financeAssist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end preparation activitiesWork closely with Area HR to resolve employee pay issuesTest new systems functionality when requestedDocument any processes to create user instructionsProcess all transactional work for bi-weekly payrollMonitor Workday HR integration with ADP Vantage payrollMonitor Ceridian Dayforce Time and attendance processing and interface with payrollDouble check all entries prior to payroll submission and ensure accurate documentation for audit trailReview bi-weekly payroll reports to ensure accuracy and assist with monthly reports as neededResponsible for ensuring deductions and tax codes are compliant under applicable federal and state laws federal and state lawsAssist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end preparation activitiesTest new systems functionality when requestedDocument any processes to create user instructionsYou’ll Need to Have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience3 years of experience with Payroll processing (full life cycle for a multi-state environment)Basic knowledge of Federal, State & Local payroll lawsWorking knowledge of integrated HR platforms (e.g. Ceridian / Workday)Wage attachment experienceYear-end experienceStrong PC skills including proficiency in ExcelWe’d Love to See:
