Description Reputable, family-owned accounting firm in Silver Spring is looking to hire a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to manage payroll operations for a diverse set of clients. This role requires bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish and involves processing weekly and biweekly payroll for businesses of varying sizes. Responsibilities: • Process weekly and biweekly payroll for 100-150 external clients using QuickBooks Online. • Review and verify employee timesheets to ensure accuracy. • Manage payroll data entry and ensure timely processing of direct deposits or physical checks based on client preferences. • Collaborate with clients to address payroll-related inquiries and provide solutions. • Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and ensure accurate tax calculations. • Ensure all timesheets are properly approved before processing payroll. • Generate detailed payroll reports to be shared with clients. • Address and resolve any discrepancies related to payroll or employee time records. • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their payroll needs are met efficiently. • Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Requirements • Proficiency in processing payroll using QuickBooks Online. • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken. • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of payroll data. • Experience in reviewing and managing employee timesheets for accuracy.
