Kforce has a client in Pittsburgh, PA that is seeking a PC Rollout/Deployment Technician for a one week assignment This is a short term (40 hours) contract assignment. Summary: The role of Deployment Technician consists of unboxing and setting up new computer workstations. This includes unpacking new PC monitors, docking stations, phones, keyboards, mice, mounting monitors on articulating mounts, connecting cabling, discarding packing materials, cleaning, and testing equipment for use. The client will provide all necessary materials and tools. Basic tech knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to follow tightly defined and scripted processes and procedures is required - directions and instructions will be provided by two dedicated project managers onsite. The Deployment Technician will be involved in configuring and installing computer hardware components such as desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals. They will physically deploy new computers, ensuring they are properly connected to power sources, networks, and peripherals.
