PCB Rework/ AOI Operator

Must be able to work as a part of a team to to resolve issues and improve inspection processes Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English) Must be able to meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects Operating AOI machines to inspect printed circuit boards (PCBs) for defects such as scratches, stains, missing components, and incorrect placements, then reworking those defects to IPC Standards Conducting visual inspections and using AOI equipment to identify and document defects. Must demonstrate production competency and knowledge of production systems Keeping detailed records of inspection results and machine performance. Ensuring that all inspected boards meet quality standards and specifications Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of AOI equipment to ensure optimal performance. Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, customers, etc. Must be able to work under physically and mentally stressful situations Must be able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes through the day Must perform any other tasks requested by supervisor Competencies Communication Proficiency. Critical Thinking/Problem Solving Skills Hand Soldering to IPC Standard Attention to Detail Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position Standard Schedule: Sunday – Tuesday 6:00PM-6:00AM. Wednesday-6:00PM-12:30AM Overtime Schedule: Sunday – Wednesday 6:00PM-6:00AM Travel Minimal to no travel required. Required Education and Experience Minimum of a high school education. Preferred Education and Experience Manufacturing/industry experience. Work Authorization/Security Clearance Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
