**Job Description**
Assists physicians to perform Neuro-endovascular procedures including and not limited to Hemorrhagic and Ischemic stroke. Including theraputic and diagnostic procedures.
**Qualifications**
-Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required **AND** American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered Technologist (R.T.), required.
-ARRT Vascular Certification Required.
-Neuro endovascular experience preferred.
-Knowledge of Radiology Information System, computer controlled radiographic equipment such as CT scan, MRI, digital angio, c-arm, ultrasound equipment.
**Responsibilities**
1. Assists physicians during Neuro-interventional and diagnostic procedures. Knowledge of different procedure set-ups (Aspiration, Stent retrieval techniques, Glue, Onyx, Coiling, Stenting, Particle embolization etc).
2. Records pertinent data on preliminary reports and keeps database accurate. Following the physician validation of the report, the data is placed in the patient's medical record.
3. Participates in endovascular research.
4. Evaluates new instruments, equipment, and other interventional specialty items and makes recommendations. Assists in the standardization of equipment in order to ensure cost effectiveness and positive patient outcomes.
5. Attends and assists various departmental conferences. Remains current on changes in endovascular procedures through literature reviews and conferences.
6. Ability to first assist utilizing sterile technique. Recognizes situations requiring immediate need and provides emergency action, as needed.
7. Provides assessment, treatment, and patient care responsibilities with knowledge of patient growth and development, and as appropriate to the ages of the patient served.
8. Participates in development of protocols and procedures for use in laboratories, as they relate to interventional procedures.
9. Monitors and assesses inventory of endovascular supplies and equipment on a continual basis.
10. Performs related duties, as required.
11. performs ultrasound exams related to neuro-endovascular procedures(TCD exams , vascular ultrasound guidance).
12. performs 3D and CT rotational angiography.
13. perform post-processing of imaging related to neuro-endovascular procedures.

**Compensation Statement**
Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $45 - $45 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
