Job title: Sales Pricing Analyst
Minimum Salary: $105,893 to $110,000
Job Location: 5100 Patrick Henry Drive, Santa Clara, CA 95054. Employer will allow remote and telecommuting throughout the U.S.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or related.
Job duties: Analyze pricing data for selected business transactions. Develop pricing metrics and monitor their development. Manage and optimize discount approval processes. Monitor and validate sales opportunities/quotations for accuracy and profitability. Coach Sales on opportunities to improve accuracy and profitability. Provide deal analysis for sales and business approvers. Identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through pricing strategies. Propose price adjustments, for different segments and scenarios. Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments of the company. Document pricing processes, train Sales and keep material updated. Address issues and concerns raised by team members relating to pricing suggestions. Stay informed on pricing analysis methods and industry trends. Find opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new processes/policies to reduce deal friction.
Requirements: 3 years of experience as a Pricing Analysis or related. Requires skills and experience to include:
Expertise understanding the complications of price analysis for a multitude of technical optical specialized items including components to special customized machinery. Expertise and in-depth knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis using Excel. Expertise analyzing pricing data for selected business transactions Experience with Microsoft Office programs and Customer relationship management (CRM) software including Salesforce. Extensive experience in analyzing pricing strategies.
